the walk in evening exceeded my expectations. Chobe River Cottages was a little jewel, with pleasant cottages in a secure and lush garden setting. The private and quiet atmosphere, along with the clean swimming pool, made for a relaxing stay.
Sharp knives were rather blunt.

The location of this place is mind-blowing! It's just a short walk from the city center with supermarkets, restaurants, and even an exchange shop. The house itself is super clean and the kitchen is equipped with all the cookware and utensils you need. The best part is the beautifully designed yard, with a secret path leading to the river bank. The chalets are spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. Plus, there's a small pool to cool off in and a porch to relax on. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were a nice bonus too. it's a jaw-dropping place to stay with amazing amenities and a great location!

The cottages were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, recommending and arranging excursions for us. The location was convenient, with restaurants and shops within walking distance.
There was a lack of facilities around the pool, such as sun beds, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the African sunshine. the mosquito netting in the bedroom and on the patio was not complete, which was a concern for keeping bugs at bay.

We had a breakdown on the road and arrived late to our reservation at Chobe River Cottages. Despite the circumstances, the staff was incredibly kind and sympathetic. They allowed us to shower and rest for an hour for free. the room was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the location was perfect for exploring Chobe and Victoria Falls. the apartments were well-equipped and the staff was friendly. We loved the small but clean pool and the opportunity to see warthogs and mongoose near the property. a wonderful place to stay with our family. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.

My partner and I recently stayed at Chobe River Cottages for a week-long getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and comfort of Room 6, a 1-bedroom suite. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals, and the staff were always kind and helpful. It was refreshing to see a hotel in Botswana that was well-maintained, with no lumps or holes in the walls. The even spray of hot water in the shower was a bonus, and the convenient location made it easy for us to walk to shops, restaurants, and the Spar supermarket. The game-viewing platform over the river added an extra touch of excitement to our stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a great time during our Easter getaway. The staff was very friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants and organizing a fun boat tour. The cottages were cozy and felt like home, with a small living room and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the peaceful and beautiful gardens surrounding the cottages, and the fact that we were just a short walk away from shops and restaurants. The price was also reasonable, making it even better.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the living room furniture was a bit outdated, with a blanket covering the sofa.
